Students will delve into the vibrant dance traditions of Mexico, expressing and exercising their imagination through movement. This program is designed around five key pillars: building artistic competencies, applying the creative and design process as a problem-solving skill, professional development, community building, and social and emotional learning. They will learn to take creative risks and collaborate with peers, developing strong teamwork and communication skills. Our young dancers will have the opportunity to proudly showcase their folkloric dance creations publicly. Come dance with us and experience a summer of culture, creativity, collaboration, and personal growth!
* Registration fee includes instruction twice a week for ~12 weeks as well as the rental for boots. Basic costumes and props will be provided. Parent/guardians will have to purchase additional costumes & props.
